Erasmus + Project -  Course on Radiation Processing for European  Students

INCT being an IAEA Collaborating Center is leading Erasmus + project on “Joint innovative training and teaching/learning program in enhancing development and transfer knowledge of application of ionizing radiation in materials processing”. The first segment (two weeks) of the second cycle has been carried out at University of  Reims Champagne - Ardenne (URCA), France, 5 -15 September, 2016. The host was Prof. Xavier Coqueret, Director,  Institut de Chimie Moléculaire de Reims,  The second segment (one week) has been carried out at University of Kaunas, Lithuania, 3 – 7 October 2016. The host was Prof. Diana Adliene. In the course 44 students from Poland, France, Italy, Lithuania, Romania and Turkey have participated,  they will receive 9 ECTS points if they  pass exam. The lectures are delivered by the top ranked professors from France, Italy, Turkey, Poland, Romania and Lithuania (see an attached program). The textbook APPLICATIONS OF IONIZING RADIATION IN MATERIALS PROCESSING of the courses has been elaborated as well and will be printed soon.
