Seminar for University of Warsaw students

In relation with the cooperation with Biology Department UW within the project of "The analysis of the possibility of gaining uranium for nuclear energetics from domestic sources" (POIG 01.01.02-14-094/09) on the 25th of June seminar titled "Selected problems of nuclear energetics" was conducted for students of this faculty.


The following lectures were delivered by:

Prof. dr hab. Jerzy Ostyk-Narbutt
Nuclear energetics and radioactive waste.

Doc. dr hab. inż. Grażyna Zakrzewska-Trznadel
Disposal of radioactive wastes and burned-out fuel.

31 students took part in the seminar. Their interest in the lectures and many questions they asked the lecturers shows the development of nuclear energetics and meeting the demand for new scientific staff in the future in positive light.
