Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology nominated Collaborating Centre of International Agency of Nuclear Energy

ICHTJ after the approval of RP goverment was appointed Collaborative Centre by MAEA. Our institute was the only unit which had such honour and only a few centres of nuclear research in the world were distinguished in this way.

The nomination was the form of recognition of the achievements of the institute in the field of radiative technologies especially with the use of electrone accelerators. The institute uses seven of such devises in the European Centre of Chemistry and Radiation Technology, possesses (pilot plant for food hygienization),sterilisation of medical equipment and polymer modyfication. ICHTJ implemented accelerative technologies in EC Pomorzany and ZWUT Człuchów.
