EUROLAB 2012




On 28-30 March 2012  the 14th International Trade Fair of Analytical, Measurement and Control Technology "Eurolab" took place  in Warsaw. “EuroLab” fairs are a specialized event of business and science, addressed to the laboratory industry, which are established resulting in substantive cooperation of research centers from across the Poland. The event is a place to promote the latest solutions and technologies designed for laboratories, as well as an irreplaceable source of information and opinion on the latest methods and research techniques. A perfect combination of science and business makes that to the fair come both contractors wishing to establish business contacts, as well as representatives of  science  interested in  market novelties  and learning. Conducted at a high level seminars, conferences and lectures by eminent experts from industry accompanied each edition of the event.

Once again, the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology was present  on the fair. At this year the institute presented the following topics:

  • Identification of irradiated foods
  • Centre for Radiochemistry and Nuclear Chemistry for nuclear energy and nuclear medicine
  • Proficiency testing for laboratories
  • Certified Reference Materials for multielemental trace analysis

The series of lectures - "Laboratories Problems” held as part of presentation organized by POLLAB - the Club of Polish Testing Laboratories and the Polish Committee for Standardization.
Halina Motrenko-Polkowska - head of the Laboratory of Nuclear Analytical Methods in the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology gave the first lecture – "The benefits of participation in proficiency tests on the example of Section POLLAB-CHEM".
