In this report, regulations concerning the emission of volatile organic compounds occurring in industrial off-gases, which are in force in Poland, are reviewed. The mechanisms of creation and implementation of the ecological policy of the European Union and related obligations are briefly presented. Short description of national Polish strategies for the implementation of international agreements, concerning the limitation of organic compounds emission into the atmosphere, is also included in the report.
