MODEL OF NON-CONTINUOUS TRACK FORMATION IN InP UNDER SWIFT ION IMPLANTATION

The influence of multiple electron capture and loss processes on track formation is investigated. The developed charge state fluctuation model gives reasonable estimates for defects length in the non-continuous track region, while the modified thermal spike model predicts the track radius.
