Motional dynamics of NO2 adsorbed on alkaline and alkaline earth metal ion-exchanged mordenites were studied by the ESR method. The temperature dependent ESR spectral line shapes were successfully analyzed by employing Heisenberg type of spin exchange model. The exchange rate was found to depend on the amount of water absorbed and the cation radius in the zeolite.
