METHOD OF COMPLEX OPTIMIZATION OF CONTAINMENTS OF STATIONARY NPP WITH PWR REACTORS

The problem of optimization of design parameters of a full pressure dry containment and its safety ventilation and spray systems for a given PWR reactor type was described.
The complex optimization problem was defined (quality function, optimization variables and limitations) and a procedure for it solution was presented.
It was shown that solution of the presented, simplified options of the optimization problem for a steel, cylindrical and spherical, containment could give valuable indications for NPP designers.
