SEARCH OF THE SELF-SIMILARITY IN A NEMATIC LIQUID CRYSTAL

The fractal-like distribution of the point-like topological defects has been found in the Schlieren texture of the nematic phase of MBBA observed using polarizing microscope by Nagaya, Hotta, Orihira and Ishibashi.
