Field and industrial radiometer type FIR-1

The radiometer FIR-1 is intended for collecting and processing data from radiometric experiments performed in industrial and field condition.
The radiometer is equipped with 4 pulse channels and one spectrometric channel. The spectrometric channel is equipped with scintilation probe and 256 pulse height analyzer.

Operating parameters of electronic unit

Pulse channels

Maximum count rate:	30 000 p/s
Programmable counting time in counting cycle	0.125, 1, 10, 30, 60, 120 s individualy set for each probe
Number of counts stored in memory in counting cycle	1024 for each probe

Spectrometric channel

Scintillation probe with pulse height analyzer:	256 channels
Maximum count number registered:	65 535 pulse in one channel
Dead time of pulse height analyzer:	17 µs
Communication with electronic unit:	RS485 serial port
Programmable counting time:	10 s to 5 min

Functional parameters of the radiometer

Signaling when any probe is disconnected or out of order
Continous control of battery voltage
Simultaneous operation and access to all measuring channels (probes)
Possibility of review of measuring results and entering markers in selected channel
Possibility of comparison of measuring results in two selected pulse channels
Storage in the memory of: measuring number, date and time of measurement start, probe type, location of 8 markers. In the memory are stored 20 measurments in each measuring channel (each measurements consist up to 1024 counting)
Programming the system with 16 key foil keybord
The measuring results stored in the memory (from all the measuring channels) are transmitted to external computer with RS232 serial port
Power consumption approximately 1.5 W.
