High effective filter holders for cleaning of fluids

Syringe filter hoders consist particle track membranes as filtering material. Such membrane is an advanced technology product manufactured by treatment of thin polyester film (10 µm) with accelerated in cyclotrone heavy ions beam and chemical etching of formed latent tracks.
Unique features of particle track membranes are: smooth surface, precisly definited pore diameters, good chemical resistance for majority of organic and inorganic solvents except concentrated and inorganic acids, no biological activity.

Application includes removing mechanical impurities of microparticles and microbiological impurities from small volumes of fluids in biochemistry, microbiology, medicine, pharmacy, chromatography.
Filter holders with membranes of nominal pores diameter: 0.2 µm, 0.45 µm, 1.30 µm are manufactured in the firm P.P.H.U. "Q-3" (Kilinskiego 228, 93-124 Lódz, Poland) on licence given by Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology and the Warsaw Technical University. Holders are delivered in two versions: non-sterilized and sterilized by electron beam.
