Polimerized aminotriazole complexes with transition metals such as copper, nickel and zinc (MAX) are new preparations for various applications.
They exhibit strong fungicidal activity against, among others, wood and roughcast pests. They form water unleachable impregnating layers on surfaces of various materials. MAX preparations can be used, due to these properties for destroying fungi on material surfaces, especially on wood and roughcast and for preservation of the material surfaces, also as additives to paints and lacquers.
The can be used also:
- for obtaining of filters for removal of impurities from air and water;
- for obtaining of polymetallic surface layer materials with catalytic activity.
MAX complexes are obtained as stable aqueous concentrates. They are stable when stored during long time period (over 1 year).
Manufacturing capacity in the Institute is up to 5,000 l of a MAX concentrate per month.
