W.Stachowicz Dr Waclaw Stachowicz obtained his M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from the Nicolas Copernicus University in Torun in 1952. In 1956 he joined the Institute of Nuclear Research at Swierk near Warsaw where he received his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 1966. Since 1983 he has been working at the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology.
He is the author and co-author of over 100 publications, 4 chapters in monographies and 4 patents.
His research interests deal with physical and radiation chemistry of organic compounds (including biological materials) EPR spectroscopy and detection of irradiated food.
